Lipidol Overnight Face Oil is a Winter Skin Care Must Have

During winter our skin takes a beating. If you don’t give it what it needs you’ll come out with ready-to-crack-because-it-is-so-dry skin. You can blame all of this on our skin being exposed to heaters, wind, cold air and hot baths. These are the things that strip our skin of its natural oily layer, leaving it dehydrated, itchy and uncomfortable.

We don’t want this to happen, do we? So we tend to take extra care and use products aimed at combating this.

Why is Lipidol Overnight Face Oil perfect for winter?

♥ Contains a number of rejuvenating ingredients that get to work on your skin while you’re sleeping.

♥ The natural oils and emollients spread easily and rapidly over the skins surface, which then form a film that prevents the loss of moisture from the skin and the outside environment.

♥ It has been fragranced using Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils.

Ylang-Ylang is excellent for calming the mind and inducing sleep and has a balancing, regulating effect on the skin.

Black Pepper oil contains high levels of antioxidants that help protect the skin from the harsh effects of the environment; it also increases blood circulation to the skin, which of course is great for overnight regeneration.

♥ The Overnight Face Oil has been coloured using natural plant extracts, so no synthetic dyes are used.

I have been using the overnight face oil for a while now. Every night I apply it to my face just after I have cleansed. I then wait a while for it to sink in and soak up and then I apply my night cream. This oil is SO luxurious and I can tell you now, it works. One of my main skin concerns is dry patches with a little bit of psoriasis here and there on my forehead, which is more noticeable come winter time. The face oil has definitely worked because not only are the dry patches gone but the little patches of psoriasis are much less noticeable. I have tried just about every cream over and under the counter and never have I seen results like this.

The thing I love too about this oil is the fragrance. Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils are the major contributing factor to being ultra luxurious.

When I wake up the next morning my skin looks and feels refreshed, nourished and dewy. And on a more serious note, the boyfriends Granny asked me the other day what skin care products I’m using lately because my skin looks amazing.

When is best to apply it? Straight before bed time, just after you have cleansed and before you apply your moisturiser.

P.S. Just to clarify, this is not a sponsored post, this is simply my personal thoughts on a skincare product that truly works.

  1. Gosh, I’ve heard so many good reviews on this, yet it just didn’t seem to do much for my skin. I used up about half the bottle, yet I saw no difference and just felt greasy when I used it. I think I was so spoilt with my dr.dermal The Omega Skin Oil!
I ended up popping this into my shower, and squirting a few drops on my hand and rubbing into my legs after shaving – seemed so wasteful, but I wasn’t using it, and at least it had a purpose then, and a good one!
