Every time I spot a bunch in the shops, at the markets or a single one on my walks, my heart beats a little more than normal. I have just discovered I have a thing for Protea flowers. I can stare at them for hours. They are simply the most beautiful things; they are so eye catching with their vibrant colours and I love how they blossom.
Oh and also because they’re predominately pink!

I absolutely LOVE proteas! My favourite flower in the whole world.
One of the things I love most is that even when they dry and die (sad face) you can still keep them because they “die” beautifully. I have a dry one in a vase at home from months and months ago and it still catches my eye all the time and I will never get rid of it.
Couldn’t agree with you more! Protea’s are beautiful!
Lovely photos by the way!
