My 3 Favourite Dishes from The Big Mouth

Food

When people ask me what my favourite restaurant is at the moment, I always hesitate a bit to answer.

But lately this hasn’t been the case, because The Big Mouth is.

The Big Mouth is located at Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton. They have a big menu offering the very best of the very best. The menu is divided into a grill-section serving hot dishes cooked in a unique charcoal oven and a sushi section serving gourmet sushi and other dishes made from the specialised marble sushi bar.

We have eaten at The Big Mouth countless times. I have tried nearly everything on the menu, but for this post, I am going tell you what my 3 absolute favourite dishes from the sushi menu are.

♥ new style sashimi

salmon sashimi, fresh jalapeño, spring onion, toasted sesame seeds, soya sauce, ponzu, sesame oil.

♥ S.U.V

4/5 pieces of rainbow reloaded and 4/5 pieces of salmon california roll with creamy shrimp tempura.

♥ salmon sushi bowl

cubed raw salmon, avocado, edemame beans, shitake mshrooms, short grain brown rice, crispy onions, ginger, spring onion, toasted sesame seeds, chilli oil, sesame oil, soya sauce.

Not only is the food excellent, but the decor is something special too. The tones of black, white and blue with a checkered floor, comfortable leather booths and a white marble sushi bar definitely makes you feel like you’re sitting at a brasserie in the heart of New York City.

Have you eaten at The Big Mouth yet?

P.S. For dessert they have deep fried oreos with vanilla milk 🙂

P.P.S This is not a sponsored post, just genuine foodie love 😉
