Tried, Tested & Love: My Favourite Things from the Body Shop

The Body Shop is my go to when I need some beauty supplies, a pick me or up or a little dose of retail therapy. My bathroom cabinets are filled to the brim but that doesn’t stop me from wanting more. I have every face mask, body exfoliant, body spray and body lotion, in every scent. I also have their loofahs, pumice stones and nail clippers, just to mention a few.

But anyway.

Here are my Five Favourite Things that I buy over and over … and over!

Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream

This luxurious, silky moisturiser formulated especially for dry skin, is my favourite in my night time skin routine. I absolutely love it. I use it almost every night and it most definitely locks in the moisture and provides long lasting hydration to my skin. The cream is thick in texture but when you apply it to your skin, a lot goes a long way, and it spreads nicely. The fragrance is quite pungent but it has a refreshing luxurious scent, which is always welcome.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel

I have one of these huge 750ml shower gels in my shower/bath at all times. I think they are good quality for money. A huge one like this could last 4 or 5 months, or even a bit longer if the boyfriend didn’t steal some regularly. Currently I have the pink grapefruit shower gel. The scent is very zesty, fresh and refreshing. The smell also lingers for a long while after using it.

Nutriganics Soothing Eye Cream

This is a refreshing eye cream that smoothes and softens the delicate skin around the eye area. I love that it is lightweight and gentle while hydrating and refreshing. Overall it absorbs really well, and it isn’t too heavy for the eye area. I am onto my third one of these. I tend to use it even during the day when my eyes feel a little tired or heavy. It makes them feel so refreshed and rejuvenated.

Moringa Body Mist

My absolute favourite scent from The Body Shop has to, has to, be moringa. I just love it. The scent is crisp, floral, and is infused with moringa seed oil. The scent is just perfect. This body mist is a body spray that comes out in an ultra-fine mist. I keep one in my handbag, in my bathroom and even on my desk for a little pick me up.

Vitamin C Moisturiser SPF 30

Some days (well most days) when you don’t want to wear makeup but you still want to enhance the natural radiance of your skin, this is the cream to apply. It also contains SPF30 so it protects the skin from the sun at the same time. I use this nearly every day, and if I tell you how radiant my skin looks after having applied it, I am not even lying. I love how it hydrates, nourishes and protects the skin. This is like a multipurpose cream. Its a must, in my opinion, for every makeup bag.
