2. The Saxon Hotel Villas and Spa

The most elegant high tea of all at one of South Africa’s most luxurious hotels, high tea at The Saxon is fit for royalty! 3. ZIOUX

High Tea at Zioux is a real decadent and indulgent experience that is definitely worth enjoying especially if you have a special occasion that needs celebrating. Hosted every Saturday between 11am and 4pm, this exclusive high tea boasts a wide selection of treats including some very gourmet touches. Think crayfish roll, crispy prawn roll, wagyu sirloin katso to name a few. As well as a very exciting selection of sweet treats.

4. Olives and Plates WITS Club

The first weekend of every month, Olives and Plates WITS Club hosts a very exclusive high tea. From traditional cucumber sandwiches to smoked salmon bagels, pastries, puffs and mini cakes. You can also choose between imported German tea or enjoy freshly brewed coffee. The setting for this high tea is very picturesque with beautifully decorated tables and bouquets of fresh flowers.

5. Alto234

Alto234 takes high tea to new heights, literally. Served on the on the rooftop of The Leonardo in Sandton and with 360-degree views over one of the most-wooded cities in the world. Some of the sweet and savoury small plates include servings of prawn and curried hollandaise blini; beef fillet tartar brioche toast; bacon, brie and asparagus frittata; and a vanilla bean custard beignet. High tea is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
