The study associated 10 portions a day with a 28% reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, 13% reduced risk of cancer, and a whopping 31% reduction in the risk of dying prematurely.

CANSA, the Cancer Association of South Africa, recommends in addition to cutting out harmful food and substances and increasing your intake of beneficial foods, it is important to choose healthy, non-denaturing food preparation methods, too.
