What do you do when an email lands in your inbox inviting you to try a spa treatment of your choice at a new beauty salon? You grab your diary, schedule in some well deserved me time and count down the days until your appointment.
This is exactly what I did.
POSH NAIL AND BEAUTY
Posh is a new boutique beauty salon in the heart of Illovo, Johannesburg. The salon is conveniently located in the famous Post Office Centre, which is home to my absolute favourite coffee shop, the Patisserie, and a few other little boutique stores. A boutique beauty salon, like Posh Nail and Beauty, is just what this cozy little centre needed.
The décor is ultra chic, modern and tasteful. With elements like a classic Ralph Lauren wallpaper, as well as accents of chrome and elegant orchids, it feels like you’re at a world famous salon in London. The salon also has it’s own signature scent with a fragrance that is utterly sublime.
This salon exudes luxury and style and the moment I walked through the door I was ready to be pampered.
 TREATMENTS
Posh is more than just another beauty salon offering mani’s and pedi’s. They offer microblading, IPL permanent hair removal, permanent make up, spray tanning, eye lash extensions, reflexology, body massages, facials and micro-zoning.
Posh also uses only the best products on the market. From QMS, Dermalogica, RegimA, to CND Shellac, CND Vinylux, and EOS, BeautyFix and Gel Revolution to name a few.
MY TREATMENT
After arriving at Posh, I was promptly offered refreshments while getting to know the owner, Emma Pike. I found it rather interesting that Emma is UK-born and worked for both Gucci and Cartier. It is no wonder that Emma has an eye for luxury and opulence. And she understands how important aesthetics is to clients that invest time and money on themselves.
I decided on a QMS deep cleansing facial. I knew without a doubt that this will do the world of good on my skin, and yes, it did. My therapist was absolutely amazing. I was in a state of total bliss for an hour! After my facial. my skin felt moisturised, plump, hydrated and dewy, which lasted for a good few days after!
I found Posh to be exclusive and personal. The boutique feel ensures every client feels like a regular and is given the extra special attention they so desire.
I can highly recommend booking a treatment for yourself at Posh, especially a facial, as that’s what I’ve personally tried. Have a look at their website or give them a call to see what other exclusive treatments are on offer or have a chat with a therapist. The therapist could not have been more accommodating and knowledgeable which I think is hard to come by in some beauty salons.
