We all love a good lipstick, don’t we? We search the beauty counters high and low for that perfect shade. It is either a matt finish or a glossy finish we after. We like to wear that perfect red for that special occasion, or that pretty pink for a girls night out. Oh and don’t forget that gorgeous nude.
In this post I have put together my five favourite lip products for five different occasions. Be it date night, girls night out, dinner and a movie, a casual day out shopping or a night out partying.

AKA: Barbie Pink
Girls night out is all about dressing up with the girls and putting on your most girly face. That means a very bold pink like this Saint Germain from MAC is a must. It is ultra creamy, with a subtle shine but full of colour. I don’t think you get any girly than this shade.

Lip Product: Smith & Cult in The Lovers
The prettiest shade of pink is the order of the day for casual dinner and a movie. This is a recent favourite of mine as I received this at the media launch of Smith & Cult in South Africa. I love a good lip gloss and this definitely ticks all the right boxes. The formula is amazing, the colour is stunning and it is long lasting.

Lip Product: Essence Sheer & Shine Lipstick in Sparkling Miracle
I love just a subtle shade with a little bit of shimmer for a casual day out. This Sparkling Miracle from Essence is just that.
The colour is a perfect dark pink and theres just a little bit of sparkle.
